New Addition

Here is the newest addition to our family… Zombie (don’t ask) I’m still having trouble telling people her name!

Spaz was my Italian Greyhound-Chihuahua mix. His name was very appropriate if that gives you any idea of his personality. Somehow escaped out of our yard one morning, he’s so fast I didn’t ever realize it until I got home from work only to find he wasn’t in the yard. That was early February and although I’m still looking I still haven’t found him. Really bummed out about that to this day :*(

So to help ease the recovery I picked up my aunts dog… Sammy. We only kept him temporarily, I thought maybe he would replace Spaz with out making me feel guilty that I had moved on. Unfortunately the hunny hated him (Not that he’s ever been a dog person in the first place.), the neighbors complained, and most of all my plant were destroyed!

So after about a month I decided to start looking for a another dog and then I found her! I searched the internet for days looking for just the right mix. Trying to make sure I found one that met all of the hunny’s requirements… the list was long!! Too long, it only left me with a few choices! She is a lab/corgi and boxer or maybe pit and although pit and boxer were on his no way list, he still agreed and boy is she a little sweety. She was so mellow and such a lover for the first three or four weeks. That allowed just enough time for Mr. Dog Hater ((whispering)) to fall madly in love with her! Can’t let him know that I said that, he’ll never admit to it… he’s a big toughy dog hater!

Once Sammy left us to go back home (we had him almost 2 months) that left Zombie very lonely which lead to her becoming a walking terror and destroying everything in her way! Don’t get me wrong she’s still a great dog very loving and follows commands amazingly (she learned sit in about 20mins). However she is in the backyard by herself all day and that’s when the terrorizer comes out to play! Her latest toy is her dog bowl… she picks it up in her mouth and scrapes the side walk with it. It’s so loud that I swear an army of construction workers are busy in tearing up my backyard!

But look at that face…. I think she’s got doggy mind control powers. Even the hunny has fallen in to her spell. Even though she been a maniac in our yard it hasn’t swayed his opnion of her. He… loves… her… He… loves… her!!
