Garden Update 6/7 – 6/11

It’s turning in to attack of the enormously large Radishes!!  The Radishes are on the right and the Mustard greens are in the middle and Cauliflower on the left.

Tomatoes – Brandywine, Jubilee and Big Boy, I cant recall which plant is which.  In the front are the Habaneros and Jalapenos.

I planted Bachelor Buttons, Sunflowers, and Nasturtium along the walkway but Zombie keeps eating them just as they sprout… so I decided I would start them in yogurt cups until they get big enough to withstand her wrath.

I am so surprised the Nasturiums have survived and are doing so well even though Zombie has ate them several times and dug them up twice!  I bought those plastic fences and put up the bricks to try to divert her attention to no avail.

Poor half eaten Sunflower!!  At least it’s still hanging in there, I wish I could say the same for its little buddy who was ripped out the other day.

Look at her trying to be all cute… don’t let the puppy eyes fool you… she’s pure evil, cute but evil none the less!

My very first Strawberries…  I’m already planning all the yummy things I’m going to make… !!

My Cucumbers a finally starting to climb up the trellis…. how could I possibly forget about the trellis!!

There it is!!  My awesome trellis that hunnie built for me!  I can’t believe its already starting to rust  from all the moisture in the mornings… anyone have any ideas how to prevent it from getting worse?

Kind of off the subject but check out the gate hunnie built to keep the dog away from the kitchen door.

Living with a Carpenter totally has it perks!  He did a wonderful job building it!  Also take note of the dirt pile on the walkway.  There it is… proof that zombie isn’t as sweet as she looks!
