Ham and Cheese Sliders
Recipe: Ham and Cheese Sliders
Ingredients
- 24 Hawaiian dinner rolls
- 24 slices of good honey ham
- 24 slices of Swiss cheese (I used a 12 pack and cut the slices in half)
- mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp mustard
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 1 Tbls dry minced onion
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- poppy seeds for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Split the rolls and lightly spread mayo.
- Fold a slice of ham and top with Swiss cheese.
- Replace bun and place on a baking sheet.
- To make the sauce combine mustard, butter, onion and Worcestershire sauce.
- Drizzle over buns and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Let sit for 10 minutes to let butter set slightly.
- Cover with foil and bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 2-3 minutes.
Quick Notes
-
I thought this would take forever to make 24 but I created an assembly line and it was super quick.
-
I made them for dinner with a salad, but they were great for lunch the next day too.
